Pioneer Valley Ballet joins Panopera, Western Massachusetts’ artist-led regional opera company, for another production at the Academy of Music Theatre.

This fall it’s Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata, one of his most beloved and enduring works. It’s the story of a powerful and successful woman facing her mortality and struggling to live out her days as she wishes, not as her past and her society dictate.

Performances Friday, September 14 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, September 16 at 2:00 p.m.
