CASTING DAY:
January 31, 2025

Does your child love to dance or perform? We have roles available for ages 5-11 in our spring production of Aladdin and His Magic Lamp at the Academy of Music! Roles will be assigned at Casting Day on Friday, January 31 at the PVB studios in Easthampton, MA:

• Age 5: Not required to attend
• Age 6-7: 4:30pm – 5:15pm
• Age 8-9: 5:15pm – 6:00pm
• Age 10-11: 6:00pm – 6:45pm

During their casting time, your child will be taught a few simple dance steps to perform with their group and be measured for a costume. This is NOT an audition – all who complete the registration process and attend Casting Day will be assigned a role! Ages 6-11 must be present at casting day to participate. Note that 5 year olds are NOT required to attend Casting Day. You will be notified of their role via email.

Please pre-register in advance through the link below, as no walk-ups can be accepted the day of casting. On Casting Day you will need to complete the registration process and pay the one-time performance fee. The performance fee ranges from $175-$225 for 6-11 year olds and covers all rehearsals, theater time, costume rentals, makeup kits, and hair kits. Performance fees for 5 year olds are $75-$100. Most roles rehearse 1x/week plus theater rehearsals throughout show week May 5-10. For more information please email frontdesk@pioneervalleyballet.org.
