Aladdin and His Magic Lamp
Our season continues with a spring performance of Aladdin and His Magic Lamp
The story of Aladdin is based on a Middle-Eastern folk tale that was later adapted into numerous theatrical, animated, and cinematic versions. On Saturday May 10th, Pioneer Valley Ballet will bring its own extravagant adaptation of this audience favorite to Northampton’s Academy of Music Theatre for two performances.
PVB’s Aladdin and His Magic Lamp tells the story of a kind-hearted boy living with his mother in poverty, who discovers a magical lamp that unleashes a powerful genie who grants him three wishes. With the genie’s help, Aladdin embarks on a journey to win the heart of a princess and stop the evil sorcerer from taking over the land. Ultimately, Aladdin must learn that believing in yourself is the true key to happiness. Experience the enchanting adventure of love, magic, and self-discovery in the timeless tale of Aladdin and His Magic Lamp!
Performances are on Saturday, May 10th at 1:00pm & 4:30pm.
